Samantha and Charlie Wheatley are the owners of Willow Springs, a property situated in Broughton Village, approximately 9km northeast of Berry, New South Wales. The recently purchased property is a residence and wildlife-friendly sanctuary, and Samantha and Charlie plan to develop a biodiversity stewardship agreement in the future to improve the property’s natural values.

The property covers approximately 32 hectares, with over one third comprised of native forest and the remainder comprised of farmland. Vegetation is characterized by subtropical rainforest species including eucalypts, lilly pillies, Port Jackson figs (Ficus rubiginosa) and many more.

Wildlife found on the property includes eastern grey kangaroos (Macropus giganteus), wedge-tailed eagles (Aquila audax), water dragons (Intellagama lesueurii) and freshwater turtles.
