Susan Hain is the owner of Peppercorn Cottage, a property located approximately 55km north-west of Cowra, New South Wales. The property is a dedicated wildlife sanctuary and farm animal rehabilitation clinic, and it is Susan’s intent for it to remain for these purposes.

Peppercorn Cottage covers approximately 0.81 hectares of wildlife-friendly native vegetation, with the primary vegetation species being peppercorn trees.

Several bird, mammal, and lizard species endemic to the area are found on the property, including crimson rosellas (Platycercus elegans), brushtail (Trichosurus vulpecula) and ringtail possums (Pseudocheirus peregrinus), and eastern bluetongue lizards (Tiliqua scincoides scincoides).
