Wildlife Land Trust / Sanctuaries / QLD / A and M Sanctuary

Tony and Polly Grech are the owners of A&M Sanctuary, a property located approximately 80km southwest of Cairns. The property is a home and provides native bushland habitat for local species.

The sanctuary covers 0.6 hectares, with vegetation predominantly being typical of northern Queensland. Wildlife species known to occur on the sanctuary include agile wallabies (Macropus agilis), species of tree kangaroos such as Bennett’s tree-kangaroo (Dendrolagus bennettianus) and Lumholtz’s tree kangaroo (Dendrolagus lumholtzi), and eastern grey kangaroos (Macropus giganteus).
