Pamela and Andrew Tilbrook are the owners of Blue Hills Cottage, a property located approximately 30km north of Taree. The property is a dedicated wildlife-friendly sanctuary, and it is Pamela and Andrew’s intent to continue to utilise Blue Hills Cottage for sustainable agriculture and horticulture and eco-tourism.

The property covers approximately 65 hectares of subtropical rainforest vegetation, with component species including various ferns, orchids and palms.

Wildlife species known to inhabit the sanctuary include brushtail (Trichosurus vulpecula) and ringtail (Pseudocheirus peregrinus) possums, red-necked wallabies (Macropus rufogriseus), dingoes (Canis dingo), water dragons (Intellagama lesueurii), lace monitors (Varanus varius), diamond pythons (Morelia spilota), green tree snakes (Dendrelaphis punctulata), whip snakes (Hierophis viridiflavus), wonga pigeons (Leucosarcia picata) and a number of other bird and reptile species.
