Roger and Debbie Hurst are the owners of KIIRRA KULA II, a property located north east of Foster. The property is a dedicated wildlife sanctuary used for recreation and as a family holiday home. It is Roger and Debbie’s intent for the property to continue in these purposes and to create a walking track around the property.
KIIRA KULA II covers approximately 35 hilly hectares of native forest with a small creek which serves as a vital water source for local wildlife. Vegetation consists mainly of blue gums (Eucalyptus globulus), mountain ashes (E. regnans), and tree ferns (Cyathea spp.).
Wildlife species known to inhabit the property include swamp wallabies (Wallabia bicolor), superb lyrebirds (Menura novaehollandiae), antechinus and other small marsupials and rodents.
