Wildlife Land Trust / Sanctuaries / NSW / Tumbling Downs

Skye Wansey is the owner of Tumbling Downs, a property situated in Exeter, approximately 60km northwest of Nowra, New South Wales. The property is a home and dedicated wildlife sanctuary, and it is Skye’s intention to maintain it for these purposes.

Tumbling Downs covers 9.31 hectares across mostly cleared land interspersed with plantings of native shrubs. Some stands of remnant eucalypt woodland are also present. The block is bound by Reedy Creek to the north, providing riparian habitat and a water source for wildlife.

The property is home to a range of native species including eastern grey kangaroos (Macropus giganteus), laughing kookaburras (Dacelo novaeguineae) and native snakes.
