Aline Duerr is the owner of Sunny Ridge, a property situated in Quorrobolong, approximately 20km southeast of Cessnock, New South Wales. The property is mainly a dedicated wildlife sanctuary, also used for wildlife rehabilitation and education. Aline wishes to maintain the property for these purposes while supporting native species and their habitats.

The property spans 43.65 hectares and is comprised of conserved native vegetation interspersed with pockets of cleared land. Vegetation is characterised as warm temperate rainforest and eucalypt woodland.

A wide range of wildlife is present including bare-nosed wombats (Vombatus ursinus), swamp wallabies (Wallabia bicolor), wallaroos (Macropus robustus), sugar gliders (Petaurus breviceps) and an array of native birds including barking owls (Ninox connivens).
