Jessica Bushby and Mitch Gibbons are the owners of Rest Easy, a property situated in Frog Rock, New South Wales. The property is 25 acres of gently rolling grassland, woodland and granite outcrops. The owners practice ‘natural dialogue regeneration with the aiof gently restoring the land in harmony with nature and enhancing diversity of flora and fauna. The owners do not farm except to maintain a very small orchard and two small veggie gardens. A farm stay also runs on the property with three accommodations with the owners encouraging guests to engage with the land mindfully. A small catering business and furniture upcycling business also are based on the property. The owners intend to continue to run these with minimal impact on the land

Rest Easy spans 10 hectares across Dry Sclerophyll Forests, more specifically White Box – Black Cypress Pine shrubby woodland of the Western Slopes. Native plant species include rosemary, Grevillea, daisy, geranium and non-natives such as bamboo and hawthorn.There are also granite boulders throughout the property. 

An extensive and growing number of wildlife is found at Rest Easy including insert kangaroos, wallabies, possums, lizards such as shinglebacks (Tiliqua rugosa), blue tongue (Tiliqua sp.), snakes such as black snakes and brown snakes (Pseudonaja textilis), echidnas (Tachyglossus aculeatus), wombats (Vombatus ursinus), fairy wrens (Malurus sp.) and other small birds, as well as a variety of larger birds such as hawks and eagles.

Rest Easy Farmstay offers a small number of thoughtfully designed accommodation options set within our Wildlife Land Trust sanctuary at Frog Rock, NSW. Each space is positioned to minimise disturbance to wildlife and to sit gently within the surrounding landscape of native grassland, woodland, and granite outcrops. Accommodation is simple, comfortable, and intentionally low-impact, allowing guests to slow down and connect with the rhythms of the land. Large windows and outdoor spaces invite natural light, birdsong, and changing weather into daily experience. There are no artificial attractions — the focus is on quiet observation, fresh air, and time spent outdoors. Guests are encouraged to explore established walking tracks, observe wildlife respectfully, and experience regeneration in action. Staying at Rest Easy is an opportunity to immerse yourself in a living ecosystem while supporting private land conservation and long-term habitat restoration.
