Paul Wilson is the owner of a property located approximately 20km north east of Kyogle. The property is a dedicated wildlife sanctuary, and it is Paul’s intent for it to continue to be used for conservation and wildlife protection.
The sanctuary covers 43 hectares and adjoins the Border Ranges National Park and Fawcetts Creek. The property is made up of pasture surrounded by eucalypt woodlands and subtropical rainforest which has been regenerating for more than 40 years.
A number of fauna species are present on the property including koalas (Phascolarctos cinereus), swamp wallabies (Wallabia bicolor), pademelons (Thylogale spp.), long-nosed bandicoots (Perameles nasuta), and a wide array of bird and reptile species.
