Peter and Kiri Theoctistou are the owners of No.6 Habitat, a rural lifestyle and nature habitat situated in Bundook, approximately 20 kilometers northeast of Gloucester, New South Wales. The property is currently used as a lifestyle residence. Owners Peter and Kiri intend to use the property to provide a safe environment for their animals, wildlife and their children’s future.

No.6 Habitat spans 188 hectares including Subtropical and Dry Rainforests, North Coast Wet Sclerophyll Forests and Eastern Riverine Forests. The property provides habitat for a range of species including birds such as wedge-tailed eagles (Aquila audax), white-bellied sea eagles (Haliaeetus leucoryphus), red-tailed black cockatoos (Calyptorhynchus banksia), yellow-tailed black cockatoos (Calyptorhynchus funereus), bowerbirds, parrots, finches, ravens, barn owls (Tyto alba), tawny frogmouths (Podargus strigoides), powerful owls (Ninox strenua), kites, falcons, hawks, pigeons, doves, mammals such as koalas (Phascolarctos cinereus), sugar gliders (Petaurus breviceps), ring-tailed possums (Pseudocheirus peregrinus), brush-tailed possums (Trichosurus vulpecula), echidnas (Tachyglossus aculeatus), wallabies, eastern grey kangaroos (Macropus giganteus), Antechinus spp, potoroos (Potorous tridactylus), rakali (Hydromys chrysogaster), insects such as butterflies, native bees, fireflies, glow worms, ants and centipedes, reptiles such as lace monitors (Varanus varius), water dragons (Intellagama lesueurii), field lizards (Lampropholis guichenoti), Burton’s legless lizards (Lialis burtonis) geckos, Manning River turtles (Emydura macquarii), snakes and other species such as frogs and spiders.
