Jane Wilson is the owner of Karyrie Park, a property located approximately 60km south west of Cowra. The property is a dedicated wildlife sanctuary and it is Jane’s intent for it to continue as such and to revegetate the land for the benefit of the local environment, while the property also runs approximately one hundred sheep. Jane is also a licensed wildlife carer specialising in small mammals.

Karyrie Park covers 43.8 hectares with vegetation types including eucalypt woodlands with a variety of native grasses. Wildlife known to inhabit the area includes eastern grey kangaroos (Macropus giganteus), squirrel gliders (Petaurus norfolcensis), common wallaroos (Macropus robustus), swamp wallabies (Wallabia bicolor), common brushtail possums (Trichosurus vulpecula), eastern brown snakes (Pseudonaja textilis), Rosenberg’s goannas (Varanus rosenbergi) and red-capped robins (Petroica goodenovii).
