Jenny Wilson is the owner of a property situated in Kangaroo Valley, New South Wales. The property is a home and dedicated wildlife sanctuary, and it is Jenny’s intention to maintain it as such while supporting native species and their habitat on the land.
The property spans 8.10 hectares of gently sloping land, with the rear boundary adjoining Crown land and the Kangaroo River. Vegetation is comprised of eucalypt woodland as well as an abundance of mature casuarina stands, providing habitat and feeding grounds for yellow-tailed black cockatoos (Zanda funerea).
A wide range of wildlife is present including eastern grey kangaroos (Macropus giganteus), wallaroos (Macropus robustus), red-necked wallabies (Macropus rufogriseus), bare-nosed wombats (Vombatus ursinus), short-beaked echidnas (Tachyglossus aculeatus), brushtail (Trichosurus vulpecula) and ringtail (Pseudocheirus peregrinus) possums and gang-gang cockatoos (Callocephalon fimbriatum).
