Wildlife Land Trust / Sanctuaries / NSW / Grogans Plain

Kylie Clifford is the owner of Grogans Plain, a property situated in Shannons Flat, approximately 30km northwest of Cooma, New South Wales. The property is a residence, dedicated wildlife sanctuary and wildlife rehabilitation site. Kylie wishes to maintain the property for these purposes, with plans to establish a release site for rehabilitated native species in the future.

The property spans 98 hectares of mixed cleared and forested land, connecting with woodlands to the south and east. Vegetation is characterized by eucalypt woodland and native grasslands.

A range of wildlife is found on the property including bare-nosed wombats (Vombatus ursinus), swamp wallabies (Wallabia bicolor), short-beaked echidnas (Tachyglossus aculeatus) and superb lyrebirds (Menura novaehollandiae).
