Xia Ping Wu and David Wei Chang Wong are the owners of Emerald Sanctuary, a property situated in Emmaville, New South Wales. The property consists of mixed bushland and open pasture with areas of eucalypt woodland and native grassland. Planned conservation activities at Emerald Sanctuary include fencing to protect habitat, weed management, pest animal control, and revegetation projects to restore native species. The land provides an important refuge for local wildlife and has strong potential to enhance biodiversity in the region. Future goals for the land are to establish the property as a long‑term refuge for native wildlife and a site for ongoing habitat restoration as well as use the sanctuary for community engagement through education and volunteer opportunities to strengthen local awareness of biodiversity conservation.
