James Kerr is the owner of Daintree Cascades, a property located in Diwan, approximately 50km north of Port Douglas, Queensland. The property is a wildlife sanctuary as well as a recreational and tourism site, and James intends to maintain the natural values of the property for wildlife conservation.
The property spans approximately 1.5 hectares of tropical rainforest and features a permanent creek. Set within the Daintree National Park, this property is home to a wide range of wildlife including southern cassowaries (Casuarius casuarius), Lumholtz’s tree kangaroos (Dendrolagus lumholtzi), Boyd’s forest dragons (Hypsilurus boydii), water dragons (Intellagama lesueurii) and jungle perch (Kuhlia rupestris).
