Wildlife Land Trust / Sanctuaries / SA / Central Park

Rebecca Lee and Martin Squire are the owners of Central Park, a wildlife sanctuary situated in Streaky Bay, South Australia. Central Park is comprised of native bushland with salt lakes and a 3 kilometer kangaroo rescue enclosure also located within the property.

Central Park spans 225 hectares (556 acres) and is covered by eucalypt woodland, she-oak forest, salt lakes and spinifex-covered limestone ground. Owners Rebecca and Martin intend to eventually donate their land as a safe haven for kangaroos and other native wildlife to a conservation organisation.

Native wildlife found on the sanctuary include emus (Dromaius novaehollandiae), kangaroos and native birds.
