Adam and Katrina De Tracy are the owners of a property located approximately 10km north of Nabiac. The property is a dedicated wildlife sanctuary with a small portion cleared for a residence and a paddock for two horses. It is Adam and Katrina’s intent to continue to live at the property while ensuring the untouched bushland remains protected.
The property covers approximately 6.07 hectares of native bushland and adjoins Talawahl State Conservation Area on two sides. Vegetation predominantly consists of eucalypt woodlands and includes a variety of native grasses, ferns and orchids.
Wildlife known to inhabit the property include swamp wallabies (Wallabia bicolor), ringtail (Pseudocheirus peregrinus) and brushtail (Trichosurus vulpecula) possums, lace monitors (Varanus varius), and a variety of owls, snakes, frogs and birds.
