Christene Anderson is the owner of Creek Haven, a property approximately 17km south of Gympie, Queensland. The property is a dedicated wildlife-friendly sanctuary and it is Christene’s intent to continue to ensure the land is available for native plant and animal species.
The property covers 0.61 hectares intersected by the Amamoor Creek. Wildlife species known to inhabit the property include platypus (Ornithorhynchus anatinus), dingoes (Canis dingo), blue fairy wrens (Malurus cyaneus), swamp wallabies (Wallabia bicolor), laughing kookaburras (Dacelo novaeguineae), Wompoo pigeons (Ptilinopus magnificus), and hundreds of other bird and reptile species.
