Andrew Kelly and Susan Johnson are the owners of Wallaby Hill, a property situated in Nimbin, New South Wales. The property has a residence, native bushland and is used for wildlife rehabilitation. Andrew and Susan aim to further rejuvenate and replant native trees and bushes to encourage and support wildlife.
Wallaby Hill spans 1.25 acres and the native bushland plant community types include Northern Turpentine-Brush Box Wet Forest featuring Eucalyptus species and Lismore Basalt Subtropical Rainforest. The property provides habitat for a range of species including wallabies such as red-shouldered wallabies (Notamacropus rufogriseus), green tree snakes (Dendrelaphis punctulatus), carpet pythons (Morelia spilota), eastern brown snakes (Pseudonaja textilis), water monitors, bandicoots, sulphur crested cockatoos (Cacatua galerita), black cockatoos, wonga pigeons (Leucosarcia melanoleuca), superb fairy wrens (Malurus cyaneus), king parrots (Alisterus scapularis), kookaburras (Dacelo novaeguineae), frogs and toads and many more bird species.
