You may not know that donkeys in the Northern Territory and Queensland are considered pests and face a terrible death by shooting.
Guardian donkeys are used in the USA to effectively protect farm animals such as sheep, calves, and goats from predation, but the use of guardian donkeys is limited in Australia.
Amazing work is being done by the Last Stop Donkey Program in Singleton, NSW. This innovative program saves wild donkeys from being shot by purchasing them from stations and giving them a second chance through training to become farm animal “guardians”.
With your support, together we can give donkeys a better life, reduce conflicts between dingoes and farmers, and foster coexistence with wildlife.
Will you join us to help these donkeys? Your gift can help rescue and train donkeys to give them better lives, free from harm.
