Tamara and Bruno are the owners of Lync Haven Rainforest Retreat, a property located near Cape Tribulation and the Daintree National Park in Diwan, approximately 100km north-west of Cairns, Queensland. The property is partially developed for business as an eco-accommodation and wildlife park, in addition to being a dedicated sanctuary for native flora and fauna.
Lync Haven Rainforest Retreat covers 8.09 hectares of tropical rainforest dominated by various palms (Arecaceae spp.) and ferns (Polypodiopsida spp.) Wildlife known to inhabit includes southern cassowaries (Casuarius casuarius), red-legged pademelons (Thylogale stigmatica), musky rat-kangaroos (Hypsiprymnodon moschatus) and tree kangaroos (Dendrolagus spp.). Also present are a wide array of bird species including double-eyed fig parrots (Cyclopsitta diophthalma) and noisy pittas (Pitta versicolor).
