ABOUT THE ARTIST

Cash Brown is an Australian contemporary artist based in Sydney, and is represented by one of Australia's top art galleries, Robin Gibson Gallery.  Cash works across a variety of mediums, and her art work is thematically diverse, from oil paintings to performance art, installations, collaborations, works on paper, watercolours, sculptures, portraits, drawings, objects and new media. Cash is actively involved in the visual arts industry specialising in contemporary art, consulting to galleries, artists and other fine art organisations and offering project management, PR and curatorial services. Cash has an extensive exhibition history having shown in many Australian art galleries, and has won numerous awards and prizes, most recently, finalist in the 2007 Doug Moran Portraiture Prize (highly commended),Sydney, Salon De Refuses, S.H. Ervin Gallery, Sydney, Sir John Sulman Prize, A.G.N.S.W. Sydney (2006), and the Portia Geach Memorial Award, S.H. Ervin Gallery, Sydney (2005).
