ABOUT THE ARTIST

A self taught artist, Josh Laws started his career in 1984 as an illustrator before spending 15 years working as an Art Director for some of Sydney's most creative and well-known advertising agencies. In 2005 he returned to the drawing board and started Josh Laws Draws, his own illustration agency. Working from his home studio in Rozelle, Josh remains faithful to his hand drawn storyboarding techniques and is one of the few artists refusing to cave in to modern computer generated imagery. His debut painting ‘Port Jackson Shark' is a work of love and may well turn his creative career in a new direction.
