ABOUT THE ARTIST

Michael Herford has held several solo exhibitions: the Volvo Gallery, Sydney (2001), the Global Gallery, Paddington (2000) and in 2002 at Mary Place Gallery in Paddington. Group exhibitions include Creative Madness at the Danks Street Depot, Waterloo (three times) and the Ted Noffs Foundation Eggstravaganza. His awards include the Westpac Art Prize 2000, the Mosman Art Prize 1998 and the Mosman Youth Prize (2^nd) 1997. Herf has been part of Humane Society International's Extinction Denied exhibition since 2002.
